I’ve just finished my Jikiden Reiki training (Shoden and Okuden levels). Wow, what an amazing immersion into Reiki as it was taught decades ago. Chiyoko Yamaguchi trained directly with Hayashi Sensei, one of Usui's initiated Reiki Masters (although this term is not used in Japan; they use “shihan,” which means “teacher”) as a young girl, and she faithfully practiced exactly as she was taught into her old age. Jikiden Reiki comes from her, and there is a whole new range of perception and effectiveness to be learned by studying this form of Reiki. Frank Arjava Petter was the teacher of the course, and for those who don't know about him, he has been at the forefront of the rediscovery of traditional Japanese Reiki both in the West and in the East. He is a wonderful teacher, full of wisdom, experience, humor, and generosity. Jikiden Reiki is especially good for addressing physical problems, and adds new options for helping free us from unwanted habits. Call or email if you’re interesting in finding out more about how Jikiden Reiki may be useful for your particular needs.
